Last summer I organised a bridal shoot with a team of fabulous wedding suppliers to bring you this gorgeous Meditteranean style wedding inspiration, featuring a beautiful silk wedding dress with lace detail by Ailsa Munro and a colourful citrus-infused colour palette of yellows, orange and pink tones and gold / gold leaf details.

VENUE

Almonry Barn is a luxury, award-winning wedding venue in Somerset. The barn has been beautifully updated with stylish interiors and gorgeous gardens, perfect for a romantic Somerset wedding.

DRESS

The beautiful silk design dress with lace detail (“Maymie”) is by award-winning South West dressmaker, Ailsa Munro. Ailsa's fine art wedding dress designs are absolutely stunning and her bespoke collection of dresses are perfect for brides looking for a vintage, personal style.

Maymie is a traditional silk crepe wedding dress with delicate white lace, with hand pieced lace sleeves that delicately cover the shoulders and a chiffon covered bodice which delicately integrates the lace detail.

HAIR, MAKEUP & ACCESSORIES

Louise Alway and Laura Le Page created a beautiful and natural look with hair and makeup for model Sarah, who wore gold accessories by Victoria Fergusson Accessories and rose-pink shoes with gold detail by Emmy London.

SUIT

Keeping with traditional wedding style, model Josh wore a classic black-tie suit from Burton Menswear finished with a colourful buttonhole with pink and yellow florals by Daisy Lane Floral Design.

FLOWERS

Daisy Lane Floral Design designed the stunning floral arrangements, which included a colourful bouquet, a set of floral hoops and a beautiful moongate set amongst the trees in the orchard.

STYLING

The table styling included gold centrepieces with colourful floral arrangements with the table scattered with lemons and greenery, gold candlesticks from Zara Home and pink tea lights from H&M Home.

The calligraphy menus and pebble place names with gold leaf detail were designed by Ivy Inks Paper Co who also designed the calligraphy invitation, with lemon yellow envelope and gold-leaf wax seal.

The lemon-yellow silk ribbons were provided by Silk & Purl. The beautiful buttercream cake with colourful texture and gold leaf detail was designed by Baking Chick.
